What is GJEPC Registration?
The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is an apex body set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, to promote the export of gems and jewellery. Registration with GJEPC is mandatory for any exporter dealing in gems and jewellery to avail of export benefits.
Upon registration, members receive a Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC), which acts as a license to export and claim incentives under the Foreign Trade Policy.

Documents Required
- Import Export Code (IEC): Copy of the IEC issued by DGFT.
- PAN Card: Copy of the PAN card of the firm/company.
- GST Registration: Copy of the GST registration certificate.
- Partnership Deed/MOA & AOA: Depending on the constitution of the firm.
- Bank Certificate: A certificate from the bank certifying the financial soundness of the applicant.
- SSI/MSME Certificate: If applicable.
- Address Proof: Proof of registered office address.
Registration Process
- Online Application: Fill out the membership application form on the GJEPC portal.
- Document Upload: Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Fee Payment: Pay the membership and admission fees online.
- Verification: The GJEPC officials will verify the application and documents.
- Issuance of RCMC: Upon successful verification, the RCMC will be issued to the applicant.
